Nobody yet. Newpage repost

Stores of knowledge no-one may see

Abutting spacetimes; energy

Is needed yet to make them real

As the strings the present must feel.

That present may elude our grasp

When what's to come we spy in glass.

Week foll'wing week, day after day,

A year or more to maybe stay.

I've not tried to make this easy

But I do hope it is not cheesy.

Hint 1: You can find one in the solar system.

Hint 2: You can find one on Earth.

Hint 3: You can almost surely find one in your town.

Hint 4: I expect you can find one in your home

Dark matter, or quarks.

That long? Dang.

Well, I guess I'll give a triple bill of hints to help you along.

Hint 5: The "theme" of the riddle, around physics and cosmology, is a complete misdirection. The solution has nothing to do with that. It follows that "spacetimes" should not be read entirely literally.

Hint 6: StrandedonEarth came pretty close to the solution early on.

Hint 7: As TheMoonRover surmised, the "glass" in the sixth line refers to a shop window.

Yeah...

I'm thinkin' a proper riddle shouldn't contain "clues" that are misdirection, particularly when said "clues" are the theme of the riddle.

I move that we axe this one and let someone else have a go.

Best,

Weather forecast?

Solar eclipse? (Not really a real guess but I just saw one)

USB Stick?

Hardrive?

Solid State Drive?

SD card?

A Quantum Computer?
