Umm, without an update as to who may or may not have guessed it, I will present one of my own, should be pretty easy

You got it, that riddle was a sonnet I wrote recently, but I took out the last line which contained the answer:

What brings fame or flame, here from us, among ?

here's a hint: Its another incomplete sonnet, so the answer rhymes with the last word here, should be easy now... but now you have to get the exact word

Friday, Tom and Mark went out for lunch together. They enjoyed sandwiches, desert, and coffee. Afterwards the other customers, the restaurant staff, and an off-duty police officer all clearly saw Tom and Mark leave without paying, and nobody said anything or tried to stop them. Why not?
