No, that's the Ultimate Answer. The Ultimate Question is (Printed below in white to avoid spoilers)

What do you get when you multiply six by seven?

Oh, hey, on this topic, how about Deep Thought?

Not to say, but the ultimate answer created by (oh my god, i forgot his name- i was reading it so long ago!) 'insert name here", was damaged because humanity was wiped out and replaced by "insert civilization name here".

I've always thought that the act of questioning is the answer. So, are you an inquiry?

Close, but not quite. An inquiry is an action, I'm looking for a thing.

I guess "rhetorical question" would be too easy :D

Hmm. Art?

Nope.

There are no references in this riddle, by the way.

Here is a riddle. I'm a time-traveler. I've been to many time periods. I'm not human, and my planet is gone.

Who am I?

i agree with vexx32 it is the Doctor.....

No wait

Spoilers follow for those that haven't seen day and time of the doctor

the doctors planet is not gone but in another dimension where it is safe

Spoilers end

so how about errr okay let me someone else who has time traveled maybe if you take into account the new star trek movies maybe Spock although if it is the doctor then ok

I agree with vexx and Helix in the answer being the Doctor. Let's let vexx go again, since I found the last one. He has harder ones.

Or we could try zis one:

Lighting the sky

High in the air

Rippling, waving

Green, red or blue

Where the weather is cold

You'll find me most often

Being so bold

As to illuminate your world

What am I?

Sounds about right.

Give me a few more minutes. I'm working on something.

EDIT:

I am that which walks along straight, flimsy roads

On a single miniscule leg and foot, which bodes

Of things that once were and now are dust;

Ones that lived long ago, in the distant past.

Each step I take leaves a scrape upon the road,

Even when I am old and sorely down-trod.

Each scrape is a stain along mine long and lonely trail,

Each scrape once set is fixed upon my road so frail.

I live my life guided only by the powers that be;

Ignorant of my dreams, they simply use me,

From now 'til forever; my siblings and I are born,

We live, and then we die, cast aside with scorn.

Up our sleeves is naught but night and shadows,

With which we leave our marks upon the snows.

What am I?

Dear Kod above, here we go again...

Give me a while to think about this one.

Alright, a chisel.

That seems too easy for that riddle. I doubt it is right. But someone has to start this train of death.
