Kerbal Language font?

I'm about to begin producing a new video with KSP, and it is going to have music overlay for a dramatic effect. However, I want to have some captions of the crew talking to each other for a bit of time filler as well as plot development.

Does anyone have a recommendation of a font or language to use for the "Kerbal language?" My first thought was Webdings  , but I'd like to know if anyone else knows of a font that would work. I'm thinking something maybe similar to the Russian alphabet, but obviously not the Russian alphabet.

English. Times New Roman.

That's what the majority of us understand.

If we use Comic Sans, I will...I'm...I will.....

In my headcanon it'd be wingdings, but close enough.

Obviously for human eyes, you'd need to add another layer of subtitles, superimposed on top, in comic sans.

I vote for some type of cuneiform. Absolutely the most Kerbal of all writing systems. All the characters are made of parts that look like capsules, struts, and such, so the characters themselves look like typical KSP asparagus monstrosities.

For example:

Kerbals would totally use Comic Sans...

They in fact did use Comic Sans on the "not safe for children" warning in the Materials lab part.

So if you wanted a Kerbal font... Comic Sans would be it. But if you just want something quickly readable... anything Arial will do.

Have you looked at Georgian? It's magnificent! Although no good if you want a majority of viewers to understand it. Looks like ქáƒÂრთული áƒÂნბáƒÂნი

My favorite is a font that I got through a generator online. I can't find the site any longer, but I'm happy to share the font itself. Just type your message as normal in this font, and off you go. Check my sig to see it in action (the "alien" script is the same as the English title).

EDIT:

I'm spewing lies!! Found the site, it's a Java-based generator you can use to customize your own alphabet. http://www.alphabetsynthesis.com/entry.html
