It certainly helps that KSP stands out so much from its competition there. It's pretty much "three identical-at-a-glance games vs. one game that's nothing like them". Also, it's the only one there that really deserves the award as far as I'm concerned, since it's the only one of the four that even tries to model real-world physics in space. Plus, it's a lot of fun; that helps too.

Thats because they thought the soundtrack was the game.. I just voted :D

Well, maybe it was eligible because the game will be out for around 1-2 weeks when the voting closes.

Better for KSP, as this most probably greatly reduces the number of voters who will vote for it :D

Voted. But I think the nominations are pretty suspect. Sandbox seems like a much more appropriate category to me, yet the nominees there are GTA, Assassins Creed and Far Cry. Um, what about Minecraft? Still, I'm glad it looks like KSP will win by a landslide in its category. Should help bring in some new players.

wow, KSP is not just pulling ahead, its dominating! 92%!! Obviously this is because KSP is a totally awesome suck you in game that gets into your dreams and interferes with everyday life, but do you think that some of it's success is to do with the ways of this community? I don't know the Eve community, but I've never been part of a gaming community that is as wonderful as this one, I'm sure that has something to do with it!
