Use PM for this bud, dont necro threads.

Updated to 0.20.2, and added a few minor parts. Some parts got removed just because I don't use them anymore and they were too much of a pain to update. As always, everything is quick and dirty.

Enjoy.

WOOHOO!

Glad to see you back with an update Gaby. These really are perfect parts for the stupidly huge things i enjoy to build.

It is possible the part.cfg files are simply missing the PART{} wrappers front and rear, although I can't check that from work right now. If no-one has had a look at that by the time I get home for lunch I'll get on it.

ok, as far as I can tell, there is just a bit much directory structure in the .zip, and if you unzip it like you normally would it may not work

It has > ...\GabysQuickAndDirtyMiscellania.v1.3.zip\GabysQuickAndDirtyMiscellania\GameData\GQDM\Parts

So if you unzip it normally you might end up with ...\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\GabysQuickAndDirtyMiscellania\GameData\GQDM\Parts

So you should probably copy just the GQDM directory to your GameData directory, then it should work

It should just look like ...\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\GQDM\Parts

Hi,

thanks for the quick reply and the help. However, no luck here. Parts are in

C:\KSP_win\GameData\GabysQuickAndDirtyMiscellania

for example C:\KSP_win\GameData\GabysQuickAndDirtyMiscellania\parts\GQDM_7x3m_split

however, they do not show up, a fatte they share with Weylands space station ring trusses.

Can you let me know what needs to be done to the cfg-files, or where I can find information on how to "wrap" them?

regards!

P.S.: I was trying to build a Standfor Torus, but with the regular "plates" an eights of the Torus (which is launchable at ~150 tons) has app. 600 parts - a bit too much to assemble 8 of those in orbit

Problem solved: I downloaded the parts from mediafire, and they worked. The previously used pack from kerblspaceport did not contain subfolders (capsules, science, etc) and did NOT work.

Thanks, and happy rocketeering!

Yeah, I couldn't get the spaceport thing to work, for some reason. The upload just hung. The versions up there are old. The mediafire one is the only one made by me that is ready for use in 0.20+

Before I got around to it, someone else uploaded a version to KSPSP that was just a simple update, but I haven't tested it.

To be clear: I have no problem with that. If they change the configs again or anything and I'm not around, people should feel free to fix it up and post it. Same goes for all my work.
