Hi all I do not know if this is the correct place to be but I will try.

I have been using this program now for a few weeks and have been trying to build a space station its taking me several days to build the modules and launch then and get them assembled in a geo orbit, but every time I get to the 4th or 5th stage or go back to the station to take a look it just blows up! Can any one explain to me why this is and how can I stop it from happening.

Thanks all

I'd love to help a newbie! Everybody's gotta start somewhere.

I'd reccomend posting a few pictures of your spacecrafts and the station you have done so far. It could be that something is touching something else in the wrong spot, but I can't offer much help otherwise. Could you tell me a bit more about the problem?

F1 to take screenshots which can be found in the KSP directory. F2 to hide the HUD (not really necessary). Posting the pictures will require a way of image hosting such as imgur.

ok finaly got the shots and put them in (imgur) so now how do i post the hear?

:D

I'm sorry, but those pics are too small for me to see. But when I had a similar problem, it turned out to be that Kerbals left in external seats were (who knows why?) causing the explosions. Do you have any of those on the station?

thanks for that but no i do not. i have one in each craft

buckau, in imgur, click the image(s) so that a popup window with a larger image shows. Then click the image in this popup so that the image has its on browser tab/page and is shown in full. Then post the link of that to the forums.

I had this problem on an old craft of mine. It was huge but every time i switched to it. It would explode.

I found out that it was the modded parts on the ship. Built an almost identical one with stock parts and never had a problem (think it was nova punch)

Also try turning the "SAS" off if u can

I heard there were still problems during 0.22 causing space stations to explode, which were fixed in 0.23. You might want to duplicate the save over to a new version and see how well it performs. I also noticed you're using some of the modded parts. Which mods do you have installed?

I think you can have one of the Mods shift the thread over to the Question and Answer thread, or you might be able to do it yourself.
