Considering how bad the SABRE-esque thrusters look, not really. I suppose tweakables will be a pretty cool development, but I probably won't get to use them unless the terrain on planets is as non-laggy as said to be.

I had a small bit of excitement BUT they killed it with half-implemented tweakables, the badly modeled and OP sabre and the announcements.

There's not as much big new shiny stuff in 0.23, but there are a lot of very welcome little tweaks. Steerable landing gear FTW!

I'm looking forward to it. Better and more expanded science (seriously, I'm not entirely certain what the fuss about the science is), the ability to launch empty tanks, and perhaps additional biomes are all a plus in my book.

Curious to see the changes to research. Just started a massive Duna base project with Kethane, so I'm a little bummed to start over, but I'll save my ship designs. They took the most time.

I find myself less exited about KSP in general since the news of Resources and Multiplayer.

Even before though .23 wasn't something I was too terribly exited about. Some tweaks to science. good. Tweakables. good. Optimizations. very good but hard to get exited about. Don't really care about the new engine. It's nice and all but just doesn't come into play with my play style really.

Missions and an economy system are what I'm looking forward too... As well as convincing them that resources as a concept is a good idea and deserve another look even if the way the were doing them originally was scrapped.

Honestly, I have no idea what the major thing that .23 is bringing. I mean most updates have a theme,

.21 SAS

.20 Seats/Flags

.19 Rovers

.18 Docking

.17 Planets

etc. but I can't single out the one major thing about this update. Most of the stuff I will use once in a blue moon.

still a little worried about the possibility of mod incompatibility. Have Steam set to not automatically update, so I can return any missions if I need to.

I'm not so much excited for it, but hopefully it won't take too much for modders to update for it. I don't really see myself using the RAPIER engine, nor do I see myself really using tweakables, so there's not a whole lot in this update for me. Optimizations are good, though, and if they can stomp on those terrain seams for me, maybe I'll take a rover out for a little cruise on Kerbin and have a party North of the KSC.

Yes! This! I cannot wait to be able to make my science rover-plane actually be able to move around a bit without having to jury-rig rover wheels to be useable but not pop on landing.

I'm very much looking forward to it. Science is no longer a click-fest due to the changes to Science and the introduction of the Science Lab. SSTOs or shuttles are finally intuitive enough to be fun due to the RAPIER and thrust tweaking.
