Giggleplex777, your space shuttle is really nice, how did you clip the boosters into the liquid fuel tanks though? And how are those two LV-909 engines enough to go to orbit?

Nephf, I could try the Buran/Energia since it should be easier than the space shuttle.

I think you should remove the crewtank as it ended up being too heavy for my first shuttle.

The max capacity is 3 tons

Some quick flight tips:

Coarse control is recommended for launch

Tap F to lock heading

Press action group 1 at 2:30 MET

Throttle down to 2/3 at 4:00 MET

Throttle down to 1/2 at 4:30 MET

It glides best when empty

Action group 0 deploys the parachute for emergencies

Nephf, I could try the Buran/Energia since it should be easier than the space shuttle.

I tried it once for myself, what came up is a mix of The Energija and the Space shuttle orbiter.

The building an Energia-Buran is just as hard as building a Space Shuttle since the Buran's engines don't fire during launch.

That actually makes sense. I was just thinking of the mix-up that Nephf mentioned, putting an engine on the fuel tank. That certainly should be easier because the COT will be more balanced relative to the COM.

About Saturn IB, I made one but it's not accurate with the engine setup, and I haven't made the fairings yet (not to mention that there isn't any room for anything to go in the fairing.)

Most of these don't seem to fall under "largest rockets". It looks to me like you're just posting real world rockets with stock parts, instead of taking the largest. IIRC the Saturn V and the Space Shuttle were the only two rockets that weighed over 2,000 tonnes.
