My amazing story of me almost getting eaten by an alligator

This is a story which not many believe, though I remember it well and am still paranoid when it comes to anything circus-related.

Here we go:

It was somewhere between 2006-2008 when I was still residing in the land of Ukraine(yes Ukraine, Kyev, where it is not very calm right now) and my mum took me to the circus(I was 6-7 years old).

The Kyev circus is very large and is a while building. We were rich at the time and got first row seats.

Somewhere halfway though the show a lady appeared with a performance, she had a rattle snake and an alligator. While she was fiddling with the snake, the alligator crept from the stage(which had a 10 inch border/ 20cm) and crawled straight to us.

My mum quickly put her legs up and I did the same. The alligator? It crawled under my seat

After 30 minutes holding our body weights on our hands, the performance was over and the circus crew finally helped. Btw while all this was happening some 30 people were watching the alligator slip under us.

After this occurrence we didn't get even a moral compensation or at least an apology from the headmaster!

Now I shall never go to a circus again....and even if I wanted to I wouldn't want to, the Riga circus is c**p and tiny(smaller than the apartment block I live in).

I think the subject line on this is a bit misleading. Should be more something like, "The day an alligator wandered over and hid under my chair."

you can, and i do, but moose are a beast to be reckoned with! they are writhing death machines. you shoot it and the bullets bounce off and it comes after you, you try to mow it down in your car and it crushes you, gets up and walks away. and they are everywhere! at bus stops, in malls, you look at it cross eyed and it will trample you. i dont think gaters are nearly as dangerous. with all those teeth its obvious what it can do and what end you should avoid, and you still see cajun folk jumping on their back and hog tie em and putting them in the gumbo. ive never seen anyone do that to a moose and live.

Can you please stop talking about moose? i have PTSD because of an encounter with one....
