Any Surprises for 0.23

This is the last update to KSP this year. Back in version 0.18.2, Eeloo was added as a Christmas gift of sorts.

So... has anyone found something yet in 0.23?

- An unlisted feature?

- New easter egg?

- Return of Magic Boulder?

- Anything? ...

Err, I can't seem to get it to spit out the "Orbit Started" lines (Not even for a single planet) So I guess looking for it is the only way to find out.

Ummm.. The camera now automatically adjusts when you enter or leave a SOI.

I have noticed some camera changes too. Swifter rotation when changing view.

Damn.

Mebe someone will go on the hunt (i'm to lazy)

I haven't really found any surprises other than bugs with SAS and EVA Monoprop.

I noticed and really like the fixed IntakeAir pooling, which is not in the ChangeLog, but was mentioned somewhere.

Alternatively, you could try to find every Orbit or OrbitDriver in the game. Anything that's orbiting anything else will have one of those, so if it exists, MB would have one.

Love that Kerbals on EVA can collect science data and return with it. Granted, this is documented, but I think it is way Cool. It allows for much more economical designs as you don't have to bring all the science parts back. Also, Apollo-style missions will be easier. Plus, with the lab module to "clean" the science equipment, you could send science missions out from an orbiting space station in reusable science vessels and return the data to KSC with crew rotation as you send the science vessels out again to a different location.

Just noticed this...

In .22 and earlier, if your R-click on a part in flight, you get the popup context (so you can transfer fuel etc). If you R-clicked again somewhere, it disappeared. Now in 0.23, they are more sticky and remain shown. Which is neat since I use them to monitor fuel drain.

Ehh, screw it, I'll go to Ike and check it out, hopefully it's come back.

(Maybe they added Russel's Teapot in between Kerbal and Eve and didn't want people easily figuring out what kind of an orbit it's in ;))
