Brightness and gamma

I have no idea if this has ever been suggested before, but ever since I'm playing KSP I wondered why there aren't brightness and gamma sliders in the graphics settings. KSP can get really dark and now I have to manually brighten the game each and every time, which is a little annoying.

I like to use my monitor's scenery mode 99% of the time (beautiful deep colors), but for KSP I always have to switch to game mode. It's not a real problem, but it would be neat if I could do this just by setting the brightness once.

+1 gamma/brightness would be nice to have - for the internets high brightness/gamma is useless but for games - always adjusting in game's settings.
