Are you going to upscale the Odysseus to match the Mk-3 parts or keep it at its current size?

I'm keeping the Odysseus as is (but with a new nose section) and I'm also making a bigger one. I'm not very good at building big, so this could be a challenge.

Ah that's good. I like its current size. It will also keep it different to the incoming wave of shuttle clones...

Well, I plan on making one of those Shuttle clones, and I fully plan on it being awesome too. We'll see which one ends up flying better, and better yet, learn form each other's design solutions!

Can't wait to see yours! The challenge right now with the Odysseus is to keep the part count below 200. The updated version has 199 parts!

I'm having aerodynamic problems with the orbiter though. One mistake and it'll enter a spiral dive. It's probably associated with the vertical stabilizer, which I'll look into when I have the time.

I found an issue already with the new shuttle pod..

When in the SPH and using VAB symmetry trying to make a custom nose from struts, this happens....

The same issue in the VAB....

I'm planning on building a new shuttle with mk3 parts to carry larger payloads. Meanwhile, I'm working on replacing the nose of the Odysseus Orbiter so it works in 0.90.

Alas, I don't have the time right now to do either.
