Never was good at landing at planets had to use mechjeb, But i think i've mastered it

I've been doing the trainings over again and watching mechjeb work, I think i've done it. To go to planets you need to raise your orbit so that you'll orbit straight into the planets orbit, Then land. Right?

You should explain more about..."then land" part.

Well since you think you have master it. Try this...a very short...mission...Less then 10 mins, real time.

"Flying to Mun guide"

Step 1. Acquire a rocket.

Step 2. Launch the rocket.

Step 3. Make an orbit around Kerbin.

Step 4. Play with maneuver nodes to get an intercept with mun.

Step 5. Execute the burn.

Step 6. When you are in Mun SOI,slow down enough to be in ~10000m orbit.

Step 7. Slowly kill all horizontal speed.

Step 8. When you are closer to the surface,begin slowing your vertical velocity down.

Step 9. Make sure you hit the ground with ~5m/s (lower is better).

Step 10. Plant a Flag.

This should work.

I'm not clear about the "orbit straight" part of your statement, as every spacecraft motion in KSP is going to be a curve of some kind. Here's a guide I wrote to getting to and landing on the moons. Maybe it will answer some of your questions?
