Petrol Station at KSC

Recommended Posts

Simple suggestion, a fuel station at KSC where you can park up your planes/tankers and refill them with the various types of fuel (at a cost/litre in career mode eventually) to allow re-use of spaceplanes etc without having to recover vessel or spawn in a new tanker every time (not a problem at the moment but I imagine it will be once budget is implemented).

was thinking this not long ago. ended up building my own fuel tanker using a Jumbo 64 tank on a trailer.

I would settle for ether a docking port on the side of that round tank near the SPH or a "refueling area" of tarmac on a taxi way where you can park and have a kerbal activate a pump that will fill all open tanks on a craft.

or maybe just right click on the tank and drag the fuel level to where you want it.

I'd rather like to see some kind of refuelling station part. Deliver it to some remote part of Kerbin (or other planet), drop a fuel tank next to it. Now you can refuel any vehicle that can land on the part (or next to the part).

Draggable fuel hoses for realism, or just "it will work if you are within distance X" for ease.

maybe they could add more air strips on the planet to land on (like the island runway) which you could refuel up at, maybe make it so that in career mode you have to hire out the different runways for money (cheaper the further in advance you do so) and pay for the fuel.
