ability of deleting ships containing "not available parts"?

- I understand, it is imposible to load these ships, but I can't see the reason why I cannot delete them in the game...(I can erase them only using the OS file manager)

I second this. I noticed it before but forgot it was a thing after I did what you (presumably) did: Delete them in the file system.

Sounds like a simple, useful addition.

I also had a thought about resurrecting ships with missing parts. I wondered whether it would be possible to add in a dummy/generic part that the game could then simply use to replace any missing ship parts with - allowing you to then rebuild your craft withut having to start from scratch. I suspect this idea would be trickier to implement than it sounds, but it would be nice to have.

This is an aspect of being unable to delete stock craft and if they are saved in the master folder they are stock. You CAN delete vessels in game if they are not stock even with missing parts. This isn't anything new and in my opinion needs no change

Incorrect. In the below screen, you cannot click "unloadable ship" and therefore cannot click "delete" to delete it.

"Unloadabe ship" is nothing special, just a ship I made in sandbox with ion drives, which I've not unlocked in career yet.

Aye. A better solution would be to grey out the Load button when it is selected instead of making is unselectable.

The old system where it just fails to load let you delete it's when squad decided to babysit us that this happened. As someone who plays with tons of mods icons up rebuilding my saves enough to not notice these changes.
