Guys need to be a little patient. I'm going full steam and not to boast, but I don't know of many mod projects that can pump out this much stuff this fast.

Lol, nope. Modding is rediculoly hard, (at least for me) and it's unbelievable that this was ever finished, let alone the quality. Much applause.

Thats what make this mod one of the top 5 its released highly polished and finished, there is always going to be a bug or two to squash as we the users place the finished product under real world testing. Helldiver you and Nazari have done an outstanding job please take all the time you need to finish its so awesome we can wait.

Please do not message me about testing. We've already selected a few folks from this thread and I'll be contacting them once everything is in game.

not to be pushy or fanboyish but i hope you guys picked one linux, one Mac and one Windows OS type candidate...

you know... so you see a bug that is in linux that isn't in windows or a problem in Macs and not in either linux (ubuntu) or Windows. (this may also give you some data/info on what's going on with the HUDs, also it may give you time to even out lots of bugs that are in all three operating systems and give the same sort of contect to all three OSes rather than what happened in phase one.

oh i did get some progress on the HUD. if you replace all the Png files with the original rasta prop ones it works (strangly enough)

sorry about posting again so soon... just wanted to say a quote from linkin park:

"as soon as you make a blueprint, like a monkey, they want the next thing to be like (or better) than the first."

Needs more velcro.

(before I come off as critical, I actually love it. I just see all those jugs and pencils and open beakers with liquids in them floating around in ways most Kerbal).

...

Again thank you for the support and my apologies for not getting this out sooner but I'm working as fast as I can. Version 2.0 will include all fixes to the KSOS up to this point plus all of this current content. We will do a RasterProp Monitor (HUD and ADI), FAR, and MechJab study once 2.0 is out.

Don't listen to anybody pushing for a date. Seriously, take as much time as you need and thanks for the teasers. You and Nazari are a cut above the rest. This thing is just beautiful.

anyone else see the K on the Kerbal periodic table?

Well it's potassium, though I don't think it's so catchy on the real one. :D

The new modules look stunning, we will finally have some proper space station internals. Thanks for your dedication Helldiver.

Naw man, that's Kerbon...

Bl? Blutonium

Pr, Propellium...

:(

Darn I'm sad, was hoping you guys would pick up on that... hehehe

I saw it. Happy to see another "keriodic table" fan

Btw is there any official keriodic table somewhere? I take mine mostly from the resource flow chart that was released on reddit some time ago.

Im trying to think of a kerbal uranium variant. Kuranium? Uranikum(ewww)? Bluranium? Explodium?

Well, maybe Kr then...

I really did not think think of that :( But, you know, that's just me.

Needs more velcro.

It's an issue with texture space trickery I'm doing. The areas you don't see Velcro strips are places that use very small texture islands. That means that they don't hold a lot of detail so a Velcro strip would look like a greyish blob.

My goal is to make sure you know you're in a Lab, that the place gives the idea of being a laboratory or what ever the IVA's function is -first-. If I can squeeze additional NASA'ish details I will, but my priority is to get the function of the location across.

If were to model an actual interior of a real space lab, it wouldn't look like a lab but a white box and require x10 the amount of detail to get the same idea/feeling across of being a laboratory or habitat.

Hence I made a concession of 50/50 Earthy looking location and Space looking location. It also solves the issue of floating Kerbals requiring chairs (since there is no way to declare if a location is in Zero-G or not).

Well, maybe Kr then...

Naw man, that's Kerbanium!

That's it, someone escort this Kerbal out of the Lab... I'm afraid he might put a tub of Explodium(Ex) in the Specimen analyzer and kill us all...

Explodium? Isn't that the same stuff that Kerbals make all their equipment out of? Sure seems like it sometimes...

Why, isn't that what I'm supposed to d... *total decompression of the module after the reaction*

They could be magnetic, use the imagination! :)

helldiver and Nazari, fantastic job on this once again and take your time, it's not like you're getting paid for this so we greatly appreciate all both of you have done. :)

I got it, "Krakenium" would make a nice uranium equivalent. :)

oh dear god those are awesome

the only thing i have to say though is that it could use at least a stcky note on the cryo storage saying something like "for specimens, not sandwiches Bill" then it would be perfect for me :)

but remember just a suggestion because it is already amazing

How about fissionium?

Nah, too describtive. It should not sound like something in the KSP universe and it should sound a bit like uranium, just like Plutonium -> Blutonium. Of course, why should the Kerbals even need a uranium replacement? They've already got Explodium, Blutonium, Oxium, Propellium, Nitronite (monoprop) and, on the old resource flowchart, Hexage (a part of nuclear fuel) and Zeonium for ion engines. I think I'll start calling XenonGas Zeonium instead.

Or goboomium, or just plain kaboomium

I think helldiver's got it covered.

In other news, HotRockets has been updated to use Smokescreen and you can modify the orbiter boosters to use upgraded smoke early with some config copy-pastes.
