Hello all. Total noob here. I've been wanting to contribute to the KSP community for quite some time now, so I decided to model the Sierra Nevada Corp. DreamChaser.

This is a total WIP, I've only modelled before, I don't have much experience in anything else but I'm here to learn.

Any critique (constructive of course) is appreciated.

Awesome, the Dreamchaser is such an important step forward in terms of re-usability. I had a post in "addons requests" about this so I am super excited about this.

All I can offer is bug finding/beta testing assistance as I suck at both modelling and texturing :( But the offer is there.

The fact that Dreamchaser launches on top of the stack means there is no need for the kind of custom LFT/SRB seen with the KSO shuttle.

Will you be scaling so that Dreamchaser fits on a 2.5m stack? Looking at the relative sizes in the lower image it seems like that would make sense..just my opinion

Note the aerodynamic shroud/mounting.

Wow, looks great. Although some of it looks a little off. Maybe it's just because of the angles that the Dream Chaser pictures are taken at.

Yea, the reference pictures I have been using aren't all that helpful as they come from different perspectives, but I believe that the main outline is there, albeit with some details that still need to be polished up.

I don't know if it can help you or not, but someone on the orbital forum made a meshes of the dreamchaser.

So maybe you can contact him for help or maybe advices.

Don't forget to also ask Ledenko ;)

Looks good, keep the good work up :)

You should contact Ledenko he currently is still busy with his Apollo like capsule but he also posted a concept of a dreamchaser and maybe wants to do that in the future too, maybe he is willing to help you

2.5m would make it fit on a 64% scale centaur perfectly!

I don't recall the wings being at that high of an angle.

The angle looks fine,

it's the height that's bothering me; then again it might just be the angle. One question, (alright two) how big is she going to be, like Weka life boat sized? (and are you going to add the immensely cute vertical stabilizer?)
