Looking for a space station mod with tech tree support.

So right now I am looking for a space station part expansion mod. I have tried FusTek, but there is no career support, and I have tried Kosmos, and whenever I run KSP with it loaded, it either crashes KSP or crashes my computer. So are there any other good space station mods out there? The reason I don't use FusTek is because I rarely use sandbox mode.

For crashes try rbray89's texture compressor. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/59005-0-23-Release-2-15-Active-Texture-Management-Save-RAM-without-reduction-packs%21

There is also a mod called "Space Station Science" that uses welded stock parts to give functionality to station labs and experiments. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/54774-0-23-Station-Science-(fourth-alpha-low-tech-docking-port-experiment-pod-models)

Note that the modules from the mod above are quite heavy so I either recommend KW Rocketry, NovaPunch, or using these stock lifters that go by the name of "Munshine" (click the words for links)

Hope this helps! :)

Well, I have heard multiple times that space station science is unbalanced, but I'll try it after FASA.

Regarding the effort to haul several very heavy pieces into orbit, dock them together, a few hundred science points per experiment are justified in my view. With much less effort, you can create several mun/minmus trips in order to max out the science tree.

It's a different, but in not an easier way.

A fully equipped station science mod station (ugh, what a word) is easily in the several hundred tons category.
