Proot
Ah, there was an update yesterday. Testing...EDIT: Looks like that fixed the map shots. Surface shots for Mun and Ike are still grey and hazy like that.OK. I will try to rework that. Should be a subtle glow only barely visible in daytime, caused by the light reflection in the surface. But seems like the DOE black sky effect in surfaces reduces the effecto to a grey gradient... Should be fixed in the next update.Proot: it does indeed! You know that big glow on the horizon that planets with atmospheres have? You can edit density, height, and color (two ways). There's an ingame editor (left ALT + G) and various stats you can add to the cfg.https://github.com/NathanKell/RealSolarSystem/wiki/AtmosphereFromGround-RSS-SettingsThat looks really interesting, but can that changes be used in the vanilla game or only in RSS?Can confirm that this is a RC bug. Completely fresh install, and newest versions of everything.Gonna try to reproduce it. Thanks. Edited April 18, 2014 by Proot

This wasn't exactly on a clean install although I mostly use part packs (the only visual enhancement mods I use were already on your list ). When I get home tomorrow I'll grab a clean install and verify that I'm still seeing it there.
papics
Nice work, I only have one wish: could you export your skybox in 2x this resolution and in PNGs? (If not for the package, just for me )

Proot
Nice work, I only have one wish: could you export your skybox in 2x this resolution and in PNGs? (If not for the package, just for me )Yes, but believe me:a) compression is disabled for the skybox and the JPG is at the 99% of the original quality. If you don't have a monitor with higher resolutions than 1920x1080 you shouldn't be capable to see the difference between 2K and 4K for that distances and scales. Proot
Yeah Proot sorry for the undescriptive help, I am having the same problem as Tygoo7, I do have a clean install (I reinstalled KSP before installing your mod's dependencies and then this, I did erase the TGAs)The smoke and exhaust effects look fine for all the other engines I have tested so far, it's just the SRBs.Looks like a problem with the .mu files, its configs or the smoke screen plugin. But I can't reproduce that.Should look like this:The reason for the white smoke is try to reproduce the superheated smoke of a real SRB, where is truly hard to distinguish where ends the flame and starts the smoke. So, someone more is having the same problem? Beetlecat
The game seems to lock up wail it is loading. Once it reaches TextureReplacer/Plugins/TextureReplacer it just stops. This pack might be TOO MUCH for KSP to handle...
KvickFlygarn87
People who are new with ActiveTextureManagement, it freezes for a minute or so at loading. That's perfectly normal.

TheCrimsonCorndog
HOT DAMN IT'S A MIRACLE!Should I be getting massive slowdowns at launch? I'm talking less than 10fps while everything else runs smooth. Something to do with all those smokescreen particles?
Whirligig Girl
http://imgur.com/a/RQXnS So the glowing Mun effect has one major problem: It has an atmosphere. This really does kind of ruin the mod for me.EDIT: and yes, I am using the very latest version of E.V.E. Jashin
This pack is amazing Proot ! I'm definitely settling for it. However, I do experience massive slowdowns at launch like TheCrimsonCorndog above : I've only tested it with a single rocket so far, but it was a simple one (4 engines, 6 SRBs, less than 60 parts in total if I remember correctly). Is it the SRB smoke causing the lag ?
ddavis425
Wasn't there supposed to be a better texture for the Mk 1-2 pod? It looks like the mod has actually downgraded the texture:Also Kerbin has a blue tint in map view but it looks like this in flightEdit: Wait a minute, every texture is messed up Edited April 18, 2014 by ddavis425

Ignath
Proot~Are any sort of sandstorms on Duna included from the EVE pack? TheCrimsonCorndog
Can confirm I am also getting the random spray of particles when using SRBs. Not sure why.Smokescreen is a huge performance hog. Will deleting that folder cause any problems?Otherwise, this is great Totally worth the wait and I'm really glad with how it turned out. The quindar is AWESOME. Ignath
Can confirm I am also getting the random spray of particles when using SRBs. Not sure why.I'm having this issue, as well as the dark hex in the ocean that was mentioned in a prior post. I took a few pictures via STEAM and they can been seen here:Strange SRB effects (Medium sized SRB):http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=250491600http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=250491697Strange darker Hex in the ocean:http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=250490996http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=250491476Hope those help. I checked the debug screen while launching as well and saw no errors popping up. Is it an issue with the smoke .mu in SmokeScreen? Also, whatever ATM settings you created are AWESOME, my game runs with tons of mods in addition to this and is still only sitting at about 2.5G! Phenomenal, a whole new game experience!

Is quite obvious. Seems like Texture Replacer is not correctly installed. The "blue tint" is in fact an attempt to reproduce the distance effect caused by the atmosphere in the reality, and (as the real one) increases as you are more and more far from Kerbin.Proot~Are any sort of sandstorms on Duna included from the EVE pack? The quindar is AWESOME.You all can delete the smokescreen and hotrockets (or use the default ones) while I fix this. I've done FX particles for stock for that cases. Is not the same, but is a hot fix if that bother you too much.I'm having this issue, as well as the dark hex in the ocean that was mentioned in a prior post. I really can't reproduce that... the only similar thing that I'm suffering is a similar effect when I warp the time... but that is (for now) an unpolished effect from smokescreen.About the hexes: is a problem from EVE caused by the cloud shadows. But I'm working to avoid it. Edited April 18, 2014 by Proot
THX-1138
Proot! Felicidades! You have a superb mod for KSP! Everything works as intended. I am using a plain vanilla KSP v0.23.5 with the required mods and your pack! It only uses about 2.5 GB of RAM and loads up fairly quick compared to my previous versions of KSP w/other mods. I will now add some of my favorite mods (Hull Camera, Protractor, ProcFairings, KW, Kosmos and SovietPack). Only thing I have noticed is the FPS hit with the lift off smoke effects which is beautiful! Te adrezco por compatir esta obra de arte!
