The KSP Forums Space Station Project (Let's build a space station!)

Since there are several threads of this sort now, we've had to make a policy decision so that they will be handled consistently. From now on, if you're working on a joint project which doesn't involve offering craft files to non-members (because those belong in Rocket Builders), the thread should go here, in Forum Games. Please feel free to continue the thread/project in this new home.

here is Dakota's defense module.

I believe Dakota did log his module, but the images didn't show. I will contact him about that. Thanks, nonetheless, ZodiaK!

Just Finished my Defense module!!!

any station I put in orbit thats more than 80 parts puts me around 15 fps even though I got 16 Gb (yes i know ksp is 32 bit, i had less than 4 Gb before)

I expect this is more of a CPU/GPU issue than memory issue. The software will need to recompute and repaint the scene frequently. Nothing happens infinitely fast. More parts = more work for the CPU/GPU = slower frame rate.

My turn now, I guess. Prepare to be amazed!

DISCLAIMER: Amazement not guaranteed.

EDIT: Are claws allowed in place of docking ports on our crafts? (To attach to the station)

I don't see why not. As long as it follows the other rules.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
