I think KSP is probably the only forum I've ever forumed on with a mature community that isn't like "be like us or gtfo".

Kinda makes sense though, since a lot of the KSP people around here work for NASA or some other space company.

Or they are like me and just a kid looking to be part of a space program of some sort one day...

I've been lucky enough to have been on multiple such forums (fora?) in my day, but the KSP forum users are top-notch. Even the ones I disagree with, frequently I come to respect their opinions even if I don't agree with them and we remain civil. It's such a nice change from a lot of the rest of the internet

I think it's because we're all smart and creative, else the game wouldn't appeal to us. We're just too awesome to get in an extended huff at each other.
