KASA Space Program Pt.1: Rockets Ablaze.

Follow my playthrough of the demo as we set our sights on landing on the Mun!

First rocket: The RT10 1:

At least it works.

Soon, we have liftoff!

Aposis:About 3.5 or 4 km

Coming Home!...

...Or not.

Soon I add a parachute and another booster, and the RT10 2 is born!

Liftoff again...

1st booster dies...

and the second...

but we make a huge achievement: SPACE!!!!

Yes, we reach space on the 2nd launch.

Now we need to get Bill home.

We get to about 11.8 km up before reentering the atmosphere.

Drag chute opens...

And then becomes a parachute.

Splashdown!

Now will launch a 2 stage liquid fuel rocket before calling it a day.

I call it the LVT30.

Liftoff:

1st dies

2nd dies

Space!

(we only go up to 9 km this time, 2 shorter than the RT10 2's height of 11km)

And Landing.

Next time on KASA: Orbital Flights!

Can I suggest using spoilers for pictures? Use [ s p o i l e r] and [ / s p o i l e r ] (without gaps)

Indeed. The KASA space program, using Demo Mode, will eventually lead to a ship similar to this,

That will comfortably make Mun orbit, land there, and return.

Interesting design. To be honest, I have never landed on the Mun. I have orbited it though.
