Cameras and photography science point discussion!

FIRST OF I want to say three things:

1. The reason this post is here and not in suggestions is because I want to see a poll and this isn't meant to be a suggestion. I want to discuss.

2. I'm doing this as more of a personal poll than a "lets add this" poll (polls on forums get votes depending on how catchy the title rather then the hive-minds opinions . And thus aren't accurate surveys).

3. I am not the one who thought this up, it was CaptainShark who I've quoted below. Here's his original post. Please read. It is awesome.

This specific idea in his post I don't think got the attention it truly needed as it is an ingenious thought among all the other genius ideas in his post.

- Cameras:

This is probably the oddest of these ideas: basically the idea would be to be able to take photos from your probe, rover, station etc, and these would be transmitted back to the KSC and put in a "gallery' of some form. Basically integrating into game the idea of taking screenshots. These could then net a small amount of science based on what you got in-frame, maybe even have special bonuses for finding easter eggs like the monoliths. These could even be integrated into career mode some time down the line when costs and public interest are factors to be considered.

Another note, CaptainShark thought there should be more trickle science to gain rather than science flash-floods from missions and then breaks of nothing. This could be a good way of doing that.

Not much to clarify, really. Since I'm pretty sure the 3 forms of "points" we're planned to have are money, science, and reputation. I would think pictures would be more about generating interest and such, thus the reputation suggestion.

Still kinda fuzzy on specifics of "reputation" but I think you mean a way of making KSC more famous or interesting in game. Yeah that could be a cool way of implementing it. Like say Mission control hangs the most impressive (meaning the most parts or coolest monolith or mist impressive celestial body) And maybe the better the photos, the more signups in the astronaut complex and better stats on signups.
