It never works out like you want it, and when you want something more precise, you'll have to manually move the UV islands around. What Squad simply did here was use a option called smart UV unwrap to get something tangible, then edited it a little bit, and created the texture, most likely to save time. I wouldn't blame them for doing that, it can be a pain to unwrap a simple capsule.Also, really like how the LK looks. It breaks my MIR station (Kerbin vanishes, and if I EVA the kerbal instantly impacts every part of the station and dies, yes EVERY part, black screen, black nav ball, white altitude bar, the whole Kraken bit) - I reverted to my previous Tantares folder and the problem went away so until I'm ready to drop this career (which probably won't be until 1.0) I'm stuck where I am. [/quote']Never been sure about RPM for Vostok, it's one of this awkward historical things, but eh, the Gemini has RPM screens - so why not?Is the Vostok going to have an IVA released with it like the LK? But what I did was:Archive the previous Tantares Folder and then delete it.Installed the new Tatares Folder.Started the game.Got a message that my Munar station didn't load because of a missing "Libra_Structure_A".Force quit the game.Grabbed the missing part from my archive.Stuck it in my "OldTantares" folder and edited the config to read "category = none" so it wouldn't show in the VAB.Restarted the game.Got no error messages.Went to the Munar Station - all A-OK.Went to YAMAS (Yet Another Mir-Alike Station) and got the weird missing Kerbin problem.EVAed my kerbal and FPS dropped to .2 (seems like) frames per second. There should be clear warning signs.Basically the part storage aspect of KAS is likely to be removed all together at some point soon, replaced with KIS entirely, to the best of my knowledge (As in KAS is purely winches and hooks).If you had stored parts, it could have been a problem I can try and placate your save corruption woes with some new content.Next update can be PPTS and Vostok, old and new, I think that's pretty cute.I thought I would try a metal effect...
