curtquarquesso
I've missed out on a lot of the Kliper progress and discussion due to school. It looks stellar. Can't wait to "fly" it back down to earth. Do you plan on creating a propulsion module for it that supports the Soyuz OM?The IGLA when I get around to it, will be very similar design of LK dish, but without the star.Ok, so, to recap on the dishes, we'll have the Kurs docking antenna, currently available, though with some stowage issues, the shiny-new LK "commie-star" dish, also currently available, and eventually a thicker, bulkier IGLA antenna like seen on Salyut?Hi, I wanted to share my modest contribution to your topic Beale, I love your work, can't play anymore without tantares . Have a Salyut !http://i.imgur.com/VujjbQo.png?1http://i.imgur.com/LP3qVPf.png?1http://i.imgur.com/0I3zBHo.png?1I really like what spacecookie did to replicate the IGLA, but, those cubic octagonal struts aren't easy on my CPU. ste1701
Finally had some time to play ksp, i did a quick mission with the N1, and it is great!Javascript is disabled. View full albumI also had a bug with the landing legs, they fold back when timewarping... strange!
tg626
Goes hand in hand with the "Gemini" tool box that appears next to the capsule during time warp... perhaps they are both made with some sort of Chronaton alloy?
planeguy868
Decided to use the Tucana capsule to make a full-blown PPTS. Uses the heatshield from Polaris, Gemini RCS (plus extra linear thrusters in the nose protrusion, I'll probably adjust those so they thrust through CoM), tweakscaled (to 1.875m) Tantares service module, solar panels, and docking port, and the 2.5m decoupler from the Proton you made. CrisK
Also - I'm incredibly busy the coming week(s), so - yeah. I doubt much if anything new will get made (Though of course I can fix urgent bugs). We know that you are not loafing around. Work hard so that you can earn that dough. We'll all root for you; it's the yeast we can do.
Djolox
So all I found is that weird size bug has nothing to do with scale and rescaleFactor. Conducting in depth research tomorrow.

Finally had some time to play ksp, i did a quick mission with the N1, and it is great!http://imgur.com/a/NS6CAI also had a bug with the landing legs, they fold back when timewarping... strange! So nice!I think this is maybe the first N-1 mission there has been LK bug - it's a known problem, since I've made the landing legs "dumb". When I have extra time, I'll try to fix this problem.Goes hand in hand with the "Gemini" tool box that appears next to the capsule during time warp... perhaps they are both made with some sort of Chronaton alloy? The "magic" properties of Tantares will hopefully not be around for long. http://i.imgur.com/GZpJVvS.jpgDecided to use the Tucana capsule to make a full-blown PPTS. But, the flaps should allow a better stable config in the end.So all I found is that weird size bug has nothing to do with scale and rescaleFactor. Conducting in depth research tomorrow. As I feared I don't think this is a problem that can be fixed without scaling the base models. planeguy868
So all I found is that weird size bug has nothing to do with scale and rescaleFactor. Conducting in depth research tomorrow.I found a fix: set rescaleFactor = 1, then inside the MODEL brackets, add scale = 1.25, 1.25, 1.25. Finally, multiply all of the position values (x, y , z coordinates) for each node by 1.25.It works for me.

Beale have you ever thought of rescaling soyuz rocket, spacecraft and klipper to 1.875m standard ? ( I guess it's 1.875 .. ) Anyway here are some pictures of my customized klipper meeting a mir core module.I'm not sure about the solar panels, I just saw a klipper 3D render who wore them so..I can't manage to embed an imgur album, shame on me can someone kindly explain me please ? I feel like spamming your thread Beale with all those big pics Well time to land, da zvidanja poor kerbals..( Here's the full album http://imgur.com/a/TXlGn ) Edited March 25, 2015 by spacecookie

I wish I could give you even more rep!The details of your crafts are amazing once again. Maybe you should have a special thread dedicated to them, so that it won't be tied only to Tantares. I think all of us would love to see more EDIT: the third panel was added only in 1987, after Kvant-1 delivered it, but that's just nitpicking.
