_Augustus_
This is a really interesting one for me. It's like a Gemini, or early Soyuz, but in the 21st Century, if I read about it right?Low mass (3 or 4 tons), no docking mechanism (Very shaky info on whether it has one or not) and only limited maneuvering capabilities.I.E. more of a proof of human flight capabilities rather than your go to Moon-Orbiter / LEO craft. A way for India to develop its technologies. Many thanks! I think it has a primitive Gemini-like docking system to dock with things.

minepagan
I think it has a primitive Gemini-like docking system to dock with things.Looks like it. In fact, looks vaguely like the stock clamp-o-tron.
passinglurker
Very pretty! Two new parts, both are like an increase version of stock parts.Verniers.http://puu.sh/jZZWj/c47e390bea.jpghttp://puu.sh/k00jo/d1f3b970a7.jpgDecouplerhttp://puu.sh/k000K/86f2879d30.jpghttp://puu.sh/jZFSX/152b6677a3.jpgLook'n spiffy, but why an increased decoupler? if anything I'd see a role for a decreased stack decoupler for gentler satellite deployment which would go well with the fact that that it's slimmer and flusher than the stock one

tjsnh
Those verniers and the decoupler are looking great! Can't wait for the release, going to use the new R-7 as an excuse to start a fresh career save up.

Guest
All this talk of verniers gave me the idea of trying them out on the N1. I've been launching her with a heavier payload and found her to be wallowing through the gravity turn, wasting fuel and delta-V in the process. After fitting out the first and second stages with 120 kN verniers (I think they are from Ven's revamp, but don't hold me to it), her performance was right back on the money. VenomousRequiem
Are you telling me you have so many mods that you don't even know what's from what anymore? No, those are from SXT if I'm not mistaken. xD

No, those are from SXT if I'm not mistaken. xDI will neither confirm nor deny that my mod collection is a cherry-picked conglomeration of odds and ends. Edit: As I thought, the big verniers are Ven's rework of the Mark 55 "Thud" engines. biohazard15
Is your PPTS (PTK NP) still in development? Here's a photo of a mock-up interior (Not mine):The panel with MFD screens is shown in folded position. Not sure about how many crew it can hold - seems to be configurable (i.e. 2 cosmonauts and cargo or 4 cosmonauts and no cargo).More photos (including Angara and Soyuz capsule interior): http://zelenyikot.livejournal.com/76940.html (Text in Russian)
