@AlphaAsh, I may seem extremely annoying constantly pestering you about this, but you HAVE seen the configs I sent you right (just making sure, since its been a few days)...

Barely two chap. I know it may seem that I live on here if I'm not actually modding KSP... but in fact I've been mostly playing Shadowrun: Dragonfall and enjoying the company of my wife. (I can read your mind, reader, so stop that.)

Chill. I'll get to it :)

Dropbox has gotten more insistent lately.

First dialog, top right, click the light grey on white background X. (Genius Dropbox, genius.)

Click download.

On the second dialog, click "No thanks just download the file".

Small suggestion - on the ksc2, fill the whole H-shaped depression with one mesh. You'll get the runway and other stuff level with ground this way. I bet the depression is there exactly for same purpose.

Anybody know where the .cfg file for the Round Range helipad/runway is? I'm disabling a couple of launch points I don't want and have been able to find all of them except for the helipad at round range.

Look in GameData/medsouz/KerbalKonstructs/Statics

All the statics exclusive to Kerbal Konstructs are in there.

where do i have to put the code for the Remote Tech Dishes ? Just into a .cfg file ?

RemoteTech generates its config first time it runs (AFAIK). If you want to add relay stations, that's the cfg you add them to. I'd recommend asking about adding new stations in the RemoteTech thread.

To everyone working on Kerbin-side, I just wanted to say thank you. This has become my favorite mod after FAR, I don't think I'll ever be able to go back to only launching from KSC.

But I did find one tiny little mistake last night that I don't think any normal person would notice but, if fixed, would add a little bit of extra realism and potentially help pilots landing at Kerbin-side locations:

Starting from the Old KSC spaceplane runway, I noticed there was a number 5 painted on the the end of the runway. Runway numbers are not random, they indicate the heading one should fly to land on or take off from that runway. To get this number, round to the nearest 10 degree mark, and lop off the last number 0

So the heading on the old KSC runway was 196* round that up to 200* then take off the last 0, the number that should be painted on the ground is 20 This is why the runways at KSC are numbered 27 and 09 (headings of 270* and 090*)

Again, it's just a small niggle, and since most of the runways aren't even numbered it's pretty much a moot point (although if anyone is developing new bases, it'd be a great feature to have!)

And while I'm suggesting things, it'd be cool if the runway headings, elevation, and runway length were included in the description of the launch sites. Or better yet, if you could access them from the in-flight Kerbin-side menu.

Keep up the great work guys, you've seriously given me back my love of flying in atmo in KSP!

I like both of your ideas.

On the first, the issue there is the numbered runway is used multiple times. In order to have the correct numbers, each runway would need its own texture, and therefore its own model. That's a bit of memory bloatage I don't think would slide with many players.

The second idea is actually going to happen once I finish some features that are WIP for Kerbal Konstructs.

Gotcha, figured it was something like that. I assume it's not as easy as making a blank runway model and then overlaying smaller, less memory intensive textures for the numbers? If so, I'd humbly suggest that having no numbers is better than having wrong numbers, especially if...

...this gets put into place, which would be great.

If you want to display the information the same way that the FAA would, let me know, I can translate English into pilot :D

Coupla examples would be fine chap, if you would. I can figure it out from that.

Sure thing:

http://skyvector.com/files/tpp/1501/afdpdf/NE_30_08JAN2015.pdf

This is a page out of an AFD (airport facility directory) What a pilot would check before going to an airport he or she had never been to before. It's designed to give you all the basic info for an airport: Runway headings/lengths, elevations, hazards, services, hours of operations, the lot.

Obviously, 98% of that is not going to apply to a KSP runway. But maybe something like the little diagram in the upper right could be used, it gives all the basic info you'd need in an easy to understand format.

http://www.aerospaceweb.org/question/instruments/sectional/legend.jpg

This is the legend to a VFR sectional chart, what any private pilot is going to be carrying with him in the cockpit. The charts themselves are again complete overkill for KSP, but some of the basic iconography might be useful.

Let me know if you want any more details, but that's the basics.

I have an issue, where when i set a runway. Eg Area 51 as the runway in the SPH then launch a craft, it would play the loading music and load for a few seconds, then it will CTD.

Mods that I am running

B9 Aerospace

Tacfuel Balancer

Ferram Aerospace

Mechjeb
