I wanted to ask you if by chance you have a list of the Latitude/Longitude/Height/Tracking Station Name for all the ground stations dishes. Some of the files have RefLatitude and RefLongitude but others don't. I would copy it from in-game but there I can't see the name's of tracking stations. It would be vary tricky for me so I was just wondering if you have a list like that? This is so I can apply that data to my RemoteTech settings and have ground stations that work with Kerbin Side. Regarding RemoteTech, I actually have KK now dynamically updating the RT cfg's groundstations when they are opened and closed. Unfortunately, I've not yet been able to get RemoteTech to then re-read its config. It's only loaded and groundstations generated on gamestart/main menu. I am in contact with the RT team to see if I can get some support from their API for making groundstation availability real-time. On 15/04/2016 at 1:00 AM, Fireheart318 said: That's interesting. When I'm in a Kerbal Foundries hovercraft, it hit them, but if I'm flying low in a plane, nothing happens! Kerbal Foundries hovercraft's generate a large collider beneath them in recent versions. Try an older version. The issue here is Kerbal Foundries and it's one that was discussed some weeks ago, so worth doing some forum trawling for more info. I'll be investigating today. With regards to installation and 'it don't work': 1 - I have addressed installation issues numerous times in this thread, worded in more ways than meals I've had since birth it seems. I am not going to repeat myself yet again. Search the thread, apply brain-power, figure it out, ask other thread-dwellers. 2 - If you can't be bothered to include more information beyond 'it don't work' I'm not even going to bother acknowledging such a post. floydian022
@AlphaAsh I wanted to say a quick thanks is all. KerbinSide is one of, if not my very favorite mod for KSP. It got me building planes and exploring Kerbin's surface, experimenting w/different launch sites, and it has completely reinvigorated the game for me. Furthermore, the passion and downright quickness with which the modding community has put out these updates for 1.1 has been unbelievable. I've never seen anything like it - and your efforts have been no exception. I just wanted you to know how much I(and many other players as well) genuinely appreciate what you do and what you contribute to the modding community and toward the game itself. ss8913
something seems to have gone south with CKAN since you separated air race out today. Try uninstalling, refreshing, and then reinstalling rather than updating, when this happens. The ContractPack module being mentioned is I think some kind of off-by-one error in the exception report. Using CKAN, you can only install one Kerbinside pack. You can pick a single one, or install the complete pack, but you can't combine single packs. This is due to the various shared files and a lack of clean separation. If AlphaAsh had one or two folders containing all the assets that were common to all packs, and separate asset folders for each pack's individual non-shared assets, we could make it work, but with the files all jumbled up in the Core-Assets folder, CKAN can't handle it without making the installation instructions so specific and detailed that we'd need a complete re-write for every release. Your solution would make Complete redundant and force downloading of all individual packs to get everything. Also some assets aren't common to all packs. Also separating assets that aren't shared means having to re-write all the configs and making file management even more of a chore for me. Having all the core assets in a CoreAssets folder is the cleanest solution for me. The whole point of deploying Kerbin-Side in this manner is it gives options, especially for those who insist on still playing 32 bit, allows players to be choosey about what they actually want, and avoids having RAM being eaten up by un-used models and textures. I'm surprised it's difficult to add a setting to CKAN that essentially says 'just over-write existing files when this one is installed'. I'm surprised it's difficult to add a setting to CKAN that essentially says 'just over-write existing files when this one is installed'. There are perfectly good reasons for Kerbin-Side to be the way it is, I get that. There are also very long-discussed and debated reasons why CKAN refuses to overwrite files. I don't want to revisit those arguments. It's a headache for you to make Kerbin-Side work perfectly with CKAN, and it's a headache for us to make CKAN work perfectly with Kerbin-Side. So what we have is a compromise. As long as everyone's aware that it's a compromise, we can all get along. If people want to install a subset of Kerbin-Side that's more than one pack, they can install Complete and delete the stuff they don't want, or they can install one Kerbin-Side pack through CKAN and add others manually.
