Poor little guy shows as Debris

EVA'ing Kerbals on the ground or having them in command seats upon rovers is basically a death trap. Hard jolts while driving, falling out of their seats, etc all does that to them, looking perfectly fine but frozen as debris. And thanks to glitchy collision meshes with the ground, there are tons of places where just walking around normally makes them go poof. RIP Matt

Edit: Happens all of the time with the most recent version of the game.

Thanks for the replies folks! I've built a protective "roll bar" into my rover to protect future Kerbals in the event the rover rolls upside down. Matt Kerman has inspired quite a few safety improvements in my space program, we all learn from our mistakes after all!

This is simply rectified by opening up the persistance file and changing the 'vessel type' and name of the kerbal! had this happen a couple times now... think to the same poor kerbal too!

can be hard to find though... the find tool in notepad helps though!
