keep on going pete!!!!! the effort you are making is tremendous and allow me to say it is looking absolutely gorgeous!!! I am doing the huge effort of waiting for a stable, official release before I try everything out and I am starting to bite my nails a bit too much!!!

we all really appreciate what you are doing, RSS is not the same without your work!

Yes, I also can't wait for the conflicts with RP-0 to be fixed so I can install RVE again... Earth without clouds looks so dull, I don't even want to play :) Once all is done and working between RVE, EVE and Scatterer, things should be the most gorgeous experience to be had in KSP.

Now I need to find my time machine to shorten the wait.

Seriously though I would love for those clouds to be included in my upcoming film (I forget if I sent you a PM on that or not... if I didn't please tell me PingoPete xD)!

The not so finished city-night texture. Honestly the hardest part to modding RVE is the damn cities, finding a balance between what looks acceptable from 1 but also 130km without repetition and without an 8k texture D:

EDIT: How do you guys feel about this much repetition? Is that acceptable or should I keep experimenting?

It's definitely acceptable in my eyes, if you want to disguise the repetition more then you could add additional cross streets. The really big street going diagonal and the one branch off of it These:

Are on the repetetive side but the only really way I would fix it is by adding additional streets to make those less present... but the texture is already very busy... GUR! xD If only there was a way to tile the texture and rotate it at a random 90 degree angle... that's how I would break the repetition.

This reminds me a ton of when I edited textures in Minecraft while attempting to keep them well tile-able.

...

In all honesty though It's probably fine. Big cities have repetition like that in them.

I would like to make a... ....ing epic video on KSP with RVE, but... I have already installed this mod, work.. almost perfectly.

For some reason, I was obliged to format my computer, now, I would like re-install this mother....ing epic mod and make my video.. but, I totaly forget, how. I searched many tutorials on Interdit, on Reddit, but.. my result it's not the same like before...

So, let's try again and tell me how I can install properly this mod, from the begining please sirs, help me.

I would say, from the very, very begining, when I just dowloaded KSP, what can I do ? Download in first Real Solar System ? EVE ? Realism Overhaul ?

It does not matter in what order you install them. You do not need to install EVE at all.

the night cities are looking great!!!! the repetition is not bad at all pete, it looks great!!!!

The pixelation will show in very large urban areas like Los Angeles but it might not be so bad. Need to try it out. Small cities like what you show here looks okay since they are not a very large continuous block. I had this issue with the terrain image repeat over a large area as well in my mod. If you look in the Overhaul archive I suggested also a four texture 90 degree rotated texture that is randomly placed. Perhaps if you also tell rbray this idea he might consider it.
