I recreated the shaders in proland, changing HR from 8.0 to 4.0, also making the atmosphere a tad bluer.

Never really looked at proland before. It is a very impressive library. I has most of the functionality that Eve Overhaul has been attempting to do.

I see a lot of people using 0.2.2 but i cant find the download link anywhere?

I'm loathe to link it here, as I would hate to be the arbiter of unnecessary traffic towards pingopete's no-doubt cluttered inbox, but a little google-fu should find you the github for the WIP, and a master ZIP download option on the right-hand side. Of course, it's highly WIP, so no bemoaning any errors!

Also, props for creating this package @pingopete. I literally created a linux dual-boot just to run this. It's gorgeous. Keep it up.

Yea, this WIP is one of the best things in KSP, for me anyway, because I love RSS stuff and the more beautiful it gets the more I don't need Stock anymore, and that's a good thing. That said, in its current state, my LOG, after installing nothing but this and the absolutely required mods to make it work, is a symphony of [EXC] and [ERR] lines. I'm very excited for the day when it's essentially done. Big thanks and celebration for ping will be overdue.

He Pingopete, would you have anything against me trying to adapt your mod to stock KSP? I'm mildly interested in making a "SVE" mod for Stock Visual Enhancements based almost entirely on your RSS enhancements... All/most credit would go to you :P

Hi, I have a problem with the sun , the planet clouds are normally displayed , but the trouble with the sun. Runs on windows, 32-bit version of the game with OpenGL and without.

Are you running with half res textures set in the game settings menu? This has the effect of further lowerinf the quality of the sun flare

Is there a known solution for this bug? I encounter it when I select a craft that is already in orbit.

You can't switch to a ship using the tracking center you have to switch from a ship already on the ground

Thanks for the answer pingopete! BTW, I noticed that this bug stopped completely when I take out the "RVE/EVE/terrain" folder from Gamedata. Maybe it's a ground texture problem?

Yeah that's interesting, it's defiantly related to the EVE overhaul though.

With the new update to RP-0, RVE now works perfectly as the name of Kerbin is irrelevant. Also since Kerbin isn't named Earth anymore, I managed to make a hybrid between the windows and linux version with scatterer included and it looks amazing :)

With the new update to RP-0, RVE now works perfectly as the name of Kerbin is irrelevant. Also since Kerbin isn't named Earth anymore, I managed to make a hybrid between the windows and linux version with scatterer included and it looks amazing :)

This looks absolutely brilliant. Any chance of you posting some instructions on how to make a hybrid between the two versions?

Well whats going on is that I'm using the textures from the Windows version (excluding city lights, I dont use those to save memory), then downloading the newest wip eve overhaul release(only the environmental visual enhancements folder), scatterer, then using all of the configs from the linux 64 version overwriting all files (besides the windows textures). Worked perfectly for me so far, hope this helps. :)

Thanks! Just one question for clarity - I need to overwrite all *.cfg files from the linux release to the Windows release, yes?

Holy...that is good, but I have a question.

How did you get the AeroFX, I seem to cannot get it work.

Do you mean the reentry heating effect? I've never had a problem with it so far, however I almost always use deadly reentry so that could be why its working the way it is. Did you change the quality slider for aerodynamic effects?

I have deadly reentry and full reentry effects, but it does not show. Not sure what it is. Did you use CKAN?

I used CKAN for the entire RO install (including mods like DRE and FASA) but any additional mods no. Thats pretty strange though, have you tried on a clean RO install?

I did it manually, it was a nightmare, but I thought I installed everything. Maybe CKAN can help. I will do just that. Hopefully CKAN doesn't hate me!

I hear you on that, I remember when I was first doing RO and I had to install again 3 times in a row since mods kept breaking eachother :D. Im sure CKAN will do the trick and it will also save you searching for updates to mods. Good luck!

The ever mysterious mystery of the AeroFX being missing eludes me. CKAN installed everything as well. This is baffling me.

Aw man thats really weird. Well whatever it is, I'm sure that it will be gone after the 1.1 update. Maybe try stock and see if the issue is still there.
