NinjaTech Enterprises, putting the possible back into impossible.

Here at NinjaTech Enterprises, we have our great minds to work on developing useful parts for your enjoyment!

We would like to introduce to you our line of Atmospheric RCS Units:

The Atmospheric Linear RCS Port

NTE.png)

The Atmospheric RCS Thruster Block

NTE2.png

Both require Intake Air, which can be gathered using air intakes. No longer do you have to worry about putting monopropellant tanks on your VTOLS.

Our next line of parts is our SAS Units:

The Advanced SAS Module, Size 3

NTE3.png

Now you have a SAS module that you can stick on your 3.75m rockets without having to strut everything together (we know you still will).

Our next line of parts is our Aero Parts:

Heat Shield Mini

NTE6.png

Now your small probes can have a heat shield of their size.

Our next line of parts is our Utility Parts:

Service Bay (3.75m)

NTE5.png

Now you can have a sevice bay on your Size 3 rockets.

Our next line of parts is our Probe Cores:

RC-S01 Remote Guidance Unit

NTE4.png

Now that you have a Size 3 SAS unit, now you can also control your rockets with a Size 3 Probe Core.

Uses stock models and textures. I would like if someone could help me with models and textures.

I like how simple you do it, but you could also model them, that makes it a bit better, or if you are not good at moddeling you could ask other people if they can do it.

Another idea, a small radial reaction wheel

Another idea, adding smaller airbrakes for probes and heat-resistant airbrakes.

Or xenon gathering scopes and scopes that convert air intake to oxidizer

Here is your airbrakes

+PART[airbrake1]
{
@name = miniairbrake1
@rescaleFactor = 0.5
@entryCost = 5000
@cost = 250
@title = A.I.R.B.R.A.K.E.S (Small)
@manufacturer = C7 Aerospace Division
description = After several complaints from our brave pilots that the standard A.I.R.B.R.A.K.E.S. were too powerful for smaller craft, the engineers at C7 Aerospace came up with a simple solution: A smaller airbrake.

@mass = 0.025
@emissiveConstant = 0.475
@maximum_drag = 0.01
@minimum_drag = 0.01
@angularDrag = 1

@MODULE[ModuleAeroSurface]
{
@deflectionLiftCoeff = 0.19
@ctrlSurfaceArea = .5
}
}

Now my question, how do i use this, save as a .cfg file?

It's a module manager file for the stock airbrakes that makes a new one that is smaller. Just save it as something like 'airbrake.cfg' in your gamedata folder.

Also, the OP was last updated back in May 2015. 129828 I keep seeing you necro old posted by accident. Make sure to check the dates :)

Update Time!  I have been working on a 1.0.5 update for a bit.  Most of everything works, with the exception of the linear atmospheric RCS.  I have created a miniaturized airbrake and doubled the heat resistance on both airbrakes. I added 2 new resources: Gravitons are a really heavy resource that you can use to submarines, weight tests, or trebuchets.  Compressed Air is a resource that I will be using in my atmospheric RCS units and can be compressed and decompressed in my new in-line air compressor.  I do have a few more things planned, but might be in a later release as the next release depends on my linear RCS working.  As I have said before, I will gladly accept textures and models from anyone.  I must now depart for kourt as it seems a private organization can't claim Minmus by planting a flag, making a mining base, and verbally claiming the planet for yourself.  I guess that would also make my claim of Kerbin invalid.
