Also, Baha, would it be possible to upload an updated version of the turret unity package at some point? Or maybe include another turret like the Abrams? just for us scrubs to have something to go on so we can make our own expansions.

It seems like the turret may need to bs scaled down just a tiny bit lol

Also how many triangles is that and did you use a normal map or just the high poly model?

The model is extremely unconventional, in that it was actually built for Minecraft. Yes, minecraft, this is what it would normally look like:

Poly count should be unusually high seeing as the thing is built of 1127 individual boxes (the entire vehicle that is, the turret is roughly 300-400, so 4-5k triangles).

As for scale, what can I say, I'm a sucker for big guns XD.

hey could you mayby add a guidance module part (different sizes) for making bombs missiles cruise-missiles

through it can wait update this first for 1.0 ;]

The guidance is part of the whole BDmissile (or similar name) part module not a seperate one. Guidance is activated through a T/F conditional

Also what exactly do you mean by making bombs/missiles cruise missiles?

Hey BD of the current rocket pod code just spawns a bullet with thrust is it ever going to be possible to spawn a proper part like the RIM-116 I'm making so we can have a guided rocket pod for air defense or ground attack this may help reduce part counts and be cool

I'm working on AI piloting so hopefully you can use that in contracts too.

Right now I have missile guidance autopilot working - just have to work on it more to get it to fly planes properly.

Well I'm getting closer... It'll aim, but currently points the wrong way and shoots out of it's ass... Hilarity aside this is a bit problematic.

Which direction do I need to be building the model in? Right now I'm making it point the same way as the 50. Cal does in unity... But that doesn't appear to be doing any good.

Also, TIL BDarmoury works in 1.0 if you have module manager.

There I go 'lets look for BD armory, that should be awesome with new aero' and then bahamuto drops that bomb. Can't wait to see that. Don't even care if the AI is stupid or just workable, that can only end in awesomeness! :D

I'm pretty sure the unity .50 is out of date so that may be the issue but that is hilarious

fireTransform has to be pointed in -Z direction, I guess. Also, how did you do this?

I opened Unity and slammed my forehead on the keyboard for 3 hours.

Also, fireTransform? haven't seen this anywhere

Also BD can you make a Detonate module I have a plan to make some Kerbal portable weaponry starting with K-4 (see what I did there :wink: ) and just because I can....

The idea is I will use KAS/KIS to move it around and then tell it to explode after a set amount of time that can be adjusted either in the VAB or live ideally.
