USS Constitution (The Frigate) Rip-Off

Been working this for the past hour. It isn't easy.

The first step is to put the parts together. Easy.

Then you have to test it. Sounds easy.

And then you have to make adjustments. Sounds hard.

Well, maybe you should consider one of the plus sides of testing it and making adjustments: (It's kinda funny though)

I know it isn't really looking like the real Constitution, but I like how it looks.

Anyway, so I built it up, ran the test, and... like in the first pic, it slants down. Then I made another adjustments and it did it again. Then I made more adjustments (mainly by adding struts), I've managed to stabilize it. Then I realized the engines are off. So I made more adjustments and finally got a good product. But then I realized the CoG is off and the engines are destroyed when the ship gets too fast in the water... If you know how to improve it, tell me.

Mods required: Romfarer Lazor (maybe, recommended), Sunbeam Laser (a must). I'm not sure about the others.

NOTE: Adjustments are already made before I've uploaded it.

Can u thow up a comparison picture as I'm not entirly sure what that ment to be. I guessing a sail boat ?

Arrh . Me thinks you need to go larger to include all sails and cannons. Have u taken that into the water ? if so dose it only go in reverse ? or are there more engins under the hood

I thought you meant the USS Constitution, NCC-1700, the prototype for the original series USS Enterprise.

I did take it into water. That was after the fourth edit (for some reason I didn't take that series of screenshots). Only the engines broke, and before that it went forward.

As for getting it larger: My computer is a 2010 MSI S6000 laptop that is already past its prime and runs rather mediocre on KSP, and the amount of mods I have on KSP put the computer on the limit. If I put too much parts it might kill the laptop (I still don't get why my laptop didn't burn out after some 200 parts in one scenario). It really isn't for gaming, but I still use it to game.

I'll be improving this soon, hopefully speeding it up and making sure engines don't get destroyed and possibly adding more guns. NOTE: I couldn't make it sailing on water, so I have the engines to do it.

I havn't done a tall ship before have done a few others but

and if I want guns I make rockets and missiles to go on them

I'll try for that. The only things needed to replace are the mods and the fuel tanks anyway... I think.

a few years ago I went on a tour on board the actual uss constitution, and I must say, yours looks just like the real thing
