Anyone know how quickly after resection of wisdom tooth you can take liquids (drinks)

I like to drink "Lipton Ice tea - green tea" with the removal of the tooth passed with about two hours, but in Poland is very hot and I'm thirsty, so i provided my self with a straw.

I know I can KSP forum it may not the best place to look for medical advice :-) but dear admins please do not delete this topic

Hope this is still useful by the time you see this: As far as i know you can start drinking again after any meds wear off, the important part is to leave the blood clot that formed in the tooth hole intact to speed the healing process; for that reason i would advise against the straw because the sucking could potentially dislodge the clot.
