So I spent a great deal of yesterday dealing with the aftermath of that thread.

There were a series of discussion/arguments in IRC again yesterday with Maxmaps, Rowsdower and calisker involved. They were, at times, somewhat contentious.

In the end Squad clarified and/or relented on what we discussed;

1: Rowsdower is free to choose any mods he likes to feature on Modding Mondays. He wasn't actively in the discussion when calisker finally announced this so he wasn't able to confirm he'd source mods from anywhere, but I'm pretty sure he will. Outside of that, Squad "firmly committed to supporting their official partner Curse" and reiterated that many, many, many times. So any support of promotion of community-ran mod sites such as KerbalStuff is not likely.

I won't post the logs but Rowsdower PMed me during the conversation because he had been away and lost track of the goings on, he confirmed to me that he has never been instructed to exclusively spotlight Curse Hosted Mods, there was no time at which this was the case. Btw Rowsdower, if you like feel free to post the logs of that. This just confirms your l assertion that most of these problems are simply the result of chronic miscommunication.

In this particular case a lot of the argument last night was a non-dispute resulting from the two parties refusing to use the same meanings for the same words, resulting in answers from one party that don't fit the question from the other party but in fact the two are in agreement.

I delete things that aren't mods (i.e. people have tried uploading crafts) and abusive mods (i.e. people don't own the copyright).

KerbalX is to crafts what KerbalStuff is to mods. Bonus points to the guys that made it because it can even (mostly) detect what mods the craft uses.

Problem for me using kerbalx is that my stuff is a pack of about 20+ aircraft and some tweaked parts.

OK KerbalX simply will not work for what i'm making, as not only do i have 20+ planes but i have pics of those and modded versions of BDA weapons specifically for this pack. Guess i can only use curse then.
