Finally managed to get enough time together for this 'complete mission' and it was fun! :)

Thanks for all the great plugins. The quick progress is just awesome. Didn\'t thought multiple command modules were possible.

Here is the list for all needed parts:

- MechJeb

- dodADA

- obviously the cart

- Ascent autopilot

- Probodobodyne

- Novapunch

Yes, als long as there is a Mechjeb on it. You only have to detach it, go to the Tracking Station and there will be a new 'Your Ship Debris'. Click on it and you can actually fly/drive it.

Would that mean you can put multiple ships on one ship that has the command pod?

Short and simple: Yes! ;)

Before Mechjeb made this possible, I planned to capture my rover in Kerbin orbit and take it down to the Mun. You can imagine that this would never work.

How far can the rover travel? And what fuel source does it rely on?

As far as I know, you can only drive about 10 km away from the pod, then ther rover becomes physicless an goes on rails. And it needs no fuel.

Yea, though be careful landing near it. Once you get within 100m of a MechJebbed vehicle, it will 'activate' and start responding to your JILK lateral RCS controls. I was using one as a remote rover to scout for large flat areas on the Mun and act as a landing target and as I was hovering in for a landing, the lights popped on and it took off up a hill. Luckily I was able to drive it back remotely from my lander. It\'s like it was runnin away

'MechJeb run! MechJeb be free! No disassemble MechJeb!'

:( You just ruined my hopes of using it in order to launch unmanned space station parts. with that 100m-range-auto-activate docking will be impossible

Ah well, I\'ll just use it for Satellites then.

AH, This explains the problems with RCS I was having with docking...I see. the target must not have mech jeb.
