Officially In A KSP Rut (PLEASE SAVE ME FROM MY BOREDOM!)

For better or worse, I decided to stay home for the better part of this Summer, and I have officially hit a wall. I am bored out of my mind, and am now looking for something to "spice" up the game. I've looked in the challenges thread, but that is simply insanity for the most part. Anything is welcomed, however, be it mods, challenges, etc... though I can't actually think of anything other than the those two. Anyways, YT IS a possibility, though it would utilize the free-ness of Fraps and a very low-end computer, so unlikely. Thanks for helping me continue my Kerbal Genocide!

Shhh... You're making my crappy-KSP skills murder-ize my pride. - - ---- ALLL THE HYPHENS!!!!-!---!!!1ONE!

Remote Tech is... well, stupid for one. I understand going out of my way for Realism, but god RT2 makes the game so difficult it is just un-fun for me.

Real.

Solar.

System.

DO IT NOW

Been There.

Done That.

Tempting, but overwhelmingly simple. Btw, I'd get bored halfway through and use HyperEdit XD

Actually, doesn't sound THAT bad. Other than being slightly tedious, that is something that I actually haven't done. In fact, I've never even visited Moho or Eeloo... Or... Well, you know. The lonely space potato.

Land an asteroid, not sure how, but it could be possible

Suprisingly simple. Its called insane crash tolerances. You can seriously deorbit them and just let them hit the ground. They have (I think) roughly 1000 m/s crash tolerance.

The lonely space potato.

Poor Dres. It doesn't get nearly enough love. I was actually in the middle of building a base there when 0.24 dropped, and I've been having too much fun with contracts (and having difficulties porting over my 0.23.5 save with its mods) to finish it.

easily done.

land one and then put it into orbit again! now THATS a challenge! :D

outposts are a bit too tedious and you can do naught with them..

No! THAT is not a challenge! Land an asteroid on Kerbin, put it back into orbit, go to laythe, land it there, take it back into laythe orbit, return to Kerbin. Do all this WITH THE ASTEROID! Not sure if it's possible though. :P

SCANSat - led Easter Egg hunt.

SCANSat doesn't have the hassle of RT2 but will reveal where all those 'anomalies' are. Then visit them for a photo-opportunity.

You can start this at Kerbin; as Rainbowtrout says it's an interesting place, and has a lot of anomalies.

Dare I say it? There is this place called "outside"...

See, that makes signifigantly more sense, and is signifigantly more fun. So probably gonna try to do a Grand Tour WITH a base on Duna/Tylo (Depending on how much I can launch and not look stupid doing so).

Turn of the computer, get outside, come back, have fresh ideas.

Wait... the outside?

I actually have never understood WHAT kOS does. I know its some scripting thing, but outside of that, I'm clueless.

It's the counterpoint to orDR? Actually, it just lets you give your rocket situational instructions on what to do under certain conditions. And you can tell it to do basically anything. Theoretically you could give it the entire mission plan for a complex operation and have it execute it from start to finish flawlessly, but in practicality you'd have to be a pretty amazing kOS programmer to pull that off.
