Pretty much. Many of the easter eggs are large compared to Kerbals and typical ships. I think it's partly to make them possible to see from further away, and partly because big things are more impressive.

Found it almost instantly. Perhaps if the lighting was at a different angle, it would've been harder to spot.

Just on the off-chance that someone doesn't know what we're talking about:

Look at where the nosecone meets the body of the rocket. Look down the picture from there to the crater below the rocket. Towards the bottom edge of that crater is

A FRIGGIN HUGE MUN-ARCH!

(Trust me, when you get there you'll find out just how big it is)

could be. Without the exact altitude I can't say for certain.

That said it's less a matter of size and more that the arch is rendering at a further range. It would make it easier to spot.

Spotted it. In a vanilla playthrough while decending. I had a Rover and thought I went down near it. Took me like almost an RL hour to get there from the landing zone, lol.
