Stock Cargo Seaplane w/ functional loading ramp

This spacious cargo plane is unlike all the other stock planes in that it features a cargo ramp that actually opens and closes. Oh, and it can land on water:P

You can cram its (surprisingly spacious) hold full of whatever you want, and this thing will have no trouble taking off. Because it's hull is composed entirely of high-strength parts, it's very forgiving on landings (both water and land).

Well, now I have an idea as to how to do this with Klaws, that could perhaps get a cargo bay with better clearance. Still, a very nice job! I only cringed a little thinking about the part count.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the positive feedback! And yea, Majorjim, there's no denying that this thing is butt ugly. It started as a proof of concept project that I was too lazy to clean up:wink:

ScriptKitt3h, the ramp is hinged with those detachable structural pylons. Their connection is flexible, allowing the landing legs to bend the ramp down, but stiff enough to snap the ramp back up when the legs are retracted. The ramp is secured in the closed position with one of those asteroid-grabby arm things. Sorry for the lack of specific part names:P
