May I ask how they repair? There are no useful parts onboard them :P Also do you think you could make a new save where you space apart your tanks by at least 2.5km? because it is almost impossible to play the game with all the lag

I'd like to do a little battle in DMP, but it seems that weapons tend to glitch through/around their targets.

Lol, I know what you mean. Me and a friend were messing around, taking turns to try and hit each other with "Hellfire" SRB missiles while the other tried to launch a rocket... and when he hit me the missile went straight through. Anyway, do you suppose you and I could have a bit of a casual game some time soon, to introduce me to the world of persistence sharing battles?

I'll try a kmp dogfight type thing if someone wants.

I'd like to try with my F/A-18, but my internet service provider sucks. My speeds are both under 10 mb/s. :(

Also, I'd need someone to ride shotgun with me to control the missiles.

I've set up for the battle, Astecarmyman. How about this for rules: No more than 5 vehicles, no more than 55 tons, and stay within 5km of the "battlefield" flag. Air vehicles are fine but have tonnage doubled like before. I set up the battle on the northwest of the continent KSC is on. You can use Hyperedit lander with coordinates 15.71, 264.89. The "battlefield" flag is just next to those coordinates.

I have 4 vehicles with a total weight of just under 50 tons.

Yeah.. I don't think I will be able to battle you as the location you picked is really buggy.

I can't even land ships at the coordinates properly....

Your vehicles were also floating above the ground or under the ground.

That would be your KSP, not the location. It looks like your vehicles have too many parts and like some parts are clipping in ways they should not. That plus buggy Kerbpaint means disaster!

I won't deny its superiority... but how many of my ships can I deploy for one of yours... ;)

It's 93 tons... how much does your ship weigh? :)

Also, I'm up gunning it with 16 heavy ASM missiles in addition to the 20 VLS missiles. :)

Sorry about that. I didn't run into that many bugs when setting up. Do you want me to choose another location or just at KSC again?

Don't worry. I've got room for much more weaponry. A large part of the ship is still empty.

Wow! That ship is quite the looker. :)

I'd hate to have to go up against it... considering I still need to make a true "modern" aquatic warship.

Sorry for the late reply; time zones and what not. Anyway, we may have to postpone this battle until I've gone through a few old messages and pieced together a fleet that actually stands a chance against the legions of the MU. I'll PM you when my fleet is organized.

I'm going to redo my ground forces. Those are all first attempts. (except the plane, I've built those before.)

Any tips on ship and tank building? :)

Try making the ship more sleek and wide-hulled (Trimaran hull. It's versatile.). The Independence class is much more fast and maneuverable than my Kyoto Class destroyer. (Although the destroyer's meant to be a weapons hog. More missiles for everyone.)
