Preventing trolls from downrating threads.

I feel like It would prevent trololoz from downrating threads for no reason.

Like the small modders usually get downrated.

The ideas I have are.

Disable thread rating until post 150

Disable thread rating until a mod approves them to use thread rating

Remove thread rating completely

I think its a good idea.

How about just disable it so everybody can ignore them like I do?

Some people like to use the function, some tend to ignore it and a handful are apparently bothered by it

I agree the function adds very little to the forum, I'll discuss removing it.

It's a way to show approval of a thread without spamming it with "+1" replies, and it's more public than giving rep. It also is a way to give negative feedback without being harsh or personal. I agree, though, that many members don't use it properly.
