Lol, I thought the banana was a joke but now I'm beginning to wonder. All respect to Snjo, if it is added, I hope it's the science one. Mostly because the big one is fun and silly but doesn't fit in stock, while the science one is kind of kerbalish.

Why choose? They said parts, which means it's more than 1, so it's obviously both Bananas...

Even if they weren't planning to add the banana, they're going to have to now... C'mon devs, why not do it as an Easter Egg!!?! You could make the bananas a 1000 science unlock on the tech tree...

Only one node in the tech tree? That's not enough to represent the whole world of bananas. We'll need another building, the Banana Research & Development Facility, with a separate tech tree for all the banana technologies. Basic bananas, advanced bananas, unmanned bananas, Kerbodyne bananas. While we're at it, we can add a Banana Assembly Building and a DLC pack for the game, Kerbal Banana Program.

But Hugo already remade the Spaceplane Parts. I know some were dissatisfied with his work, but they're not just going to throw it away! And besides, most of the people who were dissatisfied also hate the stock parts style, which is brilliant anyway.

Something other. Most of the mods listed are too large to be added officially, and the devs stated that they do not want to give the player info stats like the KER. It will probably be something like the Achievements, or Final Frontier.

KER is GPL, to add it without permission would "infect" KSP with that license.

Stuff like Deadly Reentry might be cool, but it would drastically reduce what you can do in KSP. That's why aerodynamics like FAR, as great as it might be, probably won't ever get into the game.

edit: Although, on a second thought it might just be optional. Which is the best way to do stuff anyway. Although again, that's also achieved by having it as a mod. And mods are kinda already an integral part of KSP...

Squad also said they won't add Delta-V calculators into the game. I generaly doubt they'd add stuff like that into the game. It might unlock the maximum potential of the game, but modding is supposed to be an integral part of the game anyway.

We know he's remade part of the spaceplane parts, but there's never been a mention of all. Everything we've seen (Mk1 Cockpit and Mk3 parts) is just the stuff that Spaceplane Plus has not added. If Hugo only redid half the spaceplane parts, then Spaceplane Plus could make up for the other half.

I'd love for it to be Engineer Redux. I know the Devs has said they don't want readouts, but they said to never to multiplayer, times change and what they want to do with the game changes.

The new version of engineer is really well polished, seamlessly integrated with stock and really adds to the planning aspect of the game (as opposed to guess, test, repeat). Most importantly, if you don't like it, you can easily turn it off.

Actually, some of the guys got really stoked over the banana this morning. I don't think we'll see that made stock, but it'd be a hoot to see it pop up unannounced if that were ever to happen.
