Ok, so he used the basic KSP interface, then ra**ed the S**T out of the laws of fizzics by mis-using hyperedit.

The point being?

Nice muzac though, I got to admit that.

(music not muzac and physics not fizzics) where did I rate fizzics (physics) and also the point being I wanted to know what would happen in real life.your point being.

Muzak is a thing... it's that one type of 'elevator music' that no one really likes very much.

If Kerbin (or Earth) spun at the speed of light, everything on the surface would turn into energy (E=MC Squared!), which would instantaneously and utterly destroy the planet, and the solar system as well. If Einstein's equation wasn't applied (like in KSP), the planet would simply spin to bits within a fraction of a second, and the friction that this would cause would heat up the little bits of Earth to incredibly high temperatures. In about two seconds, the Moon would be destroyed by the little bits' pummeling. The bits would likely also destroy Venus and Mars, and there's a fair chance that a bit would hit one of the other planets and destroy it as well.

So, whichever way you slice it, Earth is not going to survive, and neither are the inner planets.

in ksp physics:

t=0 rotation set to lightspeed

three things can happen here,

the first:

your ship, landed at kerbin, is now moving at lightspeed with the rotation which launches it out of the solar system, byebye!

the second:

your ship, landed at kerbin, isnt effect by the rotation change and gets whacked by a mountain or hill travelling at lightspeed.

the third:

KSP: Nope.

*cue game crash*

planets ripping apart isnt coded in ksp, simulating an entire planet being ripped apart would probably murder a supercomputer, so all it does other then the above is make it rotate a bajillion times a nanosecond.

that would be awsome if they added somthing like that where it simulates a crash that would be pretty cool!

In reference to the first question: Any massive body, including the Earth and Kerbin, would most likely collapse into a black hole long before the speed of light was reached due to increasing mass. Plus the fact that it would require infinite energy due to the body having infinite mass.

(A massive body is a body with mass.)

What do you mean by spinning at the speed of light? Light speed is a translational speed (in meters per second), not a rotational speed (in radians per second).

It's "spanning" at the speed of light. You know, like a section of bridge or some obscure measurement involving the hand or such. ;)

So it must be measuring a bridge with a hand at the speed of light! Or something.. In any case, it's impressive, and probably involves something catching on fire at some point.
