Great mod, but no instructions. I've looked at the SRL (using 1.33), but nothing explains about the cost either in $$$ or rep as I've seen mentioned earlier.

Also, in the menu while on the Space center, one of your captions says "Others options", it should read "Other options" (extra 's')

I'd be happy to do a quick writeup for you, once I know what the options are and exactly how it works.

One suggestion: Since this mod modifies the save file, it might be nice to either, have instructions on how to revert (actually, I think they are somewhere, but not too clear), or to offer to make a copy of the save file before making any changes.

By default, SRL is in hardmode. On the editor click on SIM and your next launch will be in a simulation: no recover and with revert/quickload/save enabled, when you are not on a simulation, you will be in hardmode (no revert, no quicksave/quickload). If you want you can disable hardmode on the SRL panel on the spacecenter (but use a simulation without hardmode, this is useless).

To revert your savegame, this is easy, on the SRL panel on the spacecenter, you can disabled Simulate, Revert & Launch. When you disable it, your save game will be in normal mode (revert, quicksave and quickload enabled), as it is explained on the uninstall section.

If you have already uninstalled SRL, you can change this on the Settings of your game (push escape on the spacecenter and click on Settings -> Difficulty Options and enable what you want).

Unfortunately, I won't use it anymore since I have HEAVY FPS drop due to this mod. With a simple pod on launchpad without the od I have constant 75-80 FPS, with this mod I have 25-30. Only this mod changes, I tried instal, then deinstall, then reinstall, then redeinstall and this is this mod for sure that creates this FPS drop.

For any investigation, I use Realism Overhaul (who doesn't ?) and some other mods I can list you, all are installed via CKAN but KoS since it is not listed there (just why ???).

if kOS is not listed in CKAN something is wrong because it's supposed to be and the support files are there in kOS for it.

Sorry for the thread derail - I regularly now do an advanced search for mentions of kOS ever since SQUAD decided to make an un-index separate forum for support for modded installs (grumble) that requires doing that in order to not miss some user's problem reports.

Hello, I will make some test to watch if this is caused by SRL. I doesn't use RealismOverhall and the first time I've tested it with SRL, I exprienced some bug with the hyperedit function ...

Will gather log file as soon as possible, for the while here is the list of installed mods, 2 of them aren't up to date (In-Flight Waypoints and SmartStage) but they weren't installed when I tested since I am rebuilding my config because of FPS drops I couldn't understand. I may add I REALLY want to use this mod for a RP reason since I plan to try to create some kind of mod based on data a player can gather using his own experiments on launches (at first but should be ported to any other aspect later) and KoS to create own "adaptive autopilot" (with some kind of Neural Networks for IA).

Not sure I will be able to do this with tools at disposal but this mod will play a central part of my project, like KoS.

I can't see anything really SRL related but a ton of other stuff that causes errors. Facts are : without SRL, I have 60+ FPS, with it I have 20-25 FPS with the ship I built (very simple one). When I deinstall SRL, I have 60+ FPS back, same flight.

EDIT : trying to replicate bug without other mods to check if it is a configuration or interaction with other mod issue.

- ok, exact same behaviour : without SRL I have 100 FPS (I think RO is killing FPS a lot), with SRL I have 40 FPS

I see no FPS lost on my try ... I haven't the time to do more, sorry.

Your mod list is complete? On the log I can see much more mods (and mods which I think incompatible ... AntennaRange and RemoteTech).

Have you test it on a new savegame?

Perhaps you could explain how this is different from the simulate function in Kerbal Construction Time?

Not really different ... that's an other simulation mod without all the other features that KCT has. Just that SRL is intended for the hardmode.

I've got a little problem with SRL since 1.0:

The mod keeps on saying that I can use simulation and all the stuff but the icon doesn't appear in VAB...So I just can't use it... Is there something I Miss? Really want it to work propelly, I have disabled reverts on starting carreer options so it's a must have for me...

Does this mod works for you guys?

Edit: I'm using outer planets mod...So maybe because of that?

Hello, SRL is not compatible with KSP 1.XX and it needs a complete rewrite. It was my first plugin and too many functions are really bad made. I will not update it soon ...

If you look at an other way to do a simulate, I suggest you to look at HoloDeck (the planned features are what I wanted for SRL). And you also can try KCT which also has a simulate function.
