This makes me wonder why this would be more useful than a regular train

Based on this article by wired, the "Levitating Hype-Plane-Train" uses the ground effect principle to increase lift and reduce drag much like the Russian Ekranoplan:

Who knew, I always thought the ground effect principle had something to do with the green residue on my KSP launchpad.

Let's just remind you of this.

let me remind you of the hype bus. Hype train can only go on tracks. Hypeplane is expensive and needs runway to land. The roads of hypelandia are vast and the hype bus travels them at speeds of over 1 times the speed of hype which itself is 3 times the speed of light. so I present to you the newest member of hypebus incorperated's fleet. The double decks allow for twice the hype which allows for twice the hype speed. Getting you to your hype filled destination wherever it may be in record speed and efficiency

Can't store enough people on a bus.

And so it begins. Again. The poor, poor server.

...On the other hand, I have one question: will there be pizza this time?

Pizza is the HypeFood!

what we lack in capacity we gain in raw hype and speed. who needs capacity when you have a fleet of hypehundred hypebuses going to multiple of destinations at 10 times the speed of hype.

So you pack the few rich people in for a quick ride? Anyway, the HypeBusStopofMaximumHype will move just like the Trainstation and Airport.

What if, and I'm just throwing this out there like a staged booster, we made a Hype-Station where hypetrains and hypeplanes can dock together?

Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling!

Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes...

The dead rising from the grave!

Human sacrifice, planes and trains docking together... mass hysteria!

Why not use thousands of Hype-bikes?

Rowsdower. I have a question. (if it's already been asked, shame on me)

I see you mentioned "mk 1 parts and Spaceplane+"

what happened to the mk 3 parts? That was all you guys focused on at first and now they seem to have disappeared.

They've been redesigned with a new size and shape.

You guys aren't listening, all the HypeVehicles are the same thing, just taking different forms. Basically it's a train (HypeTrain) with extendable wheels (HypeBus) and wings strapped to it (HypePlane)

what is this blasphemy! hypebus and hypeplane have nothing in common. hypebus is clearly the superior form of hypeportation!
