Anyone have a longer flight than me?

By flight I mean IN ATMOSPHERE, not rockets... Currently doing a challenge on chasing the sun for as long as possible and I'm on day 2 now using solar power and electric engines. I did have to use Rapier engines just to catch up to the sun because I launched at night, and then once I caught up, I ditched them. A rule is you can't use batteries or engines that produce electricity.

And the flight is still in progress. Note that one of the rules is that you can't go above 11,000 meters. Looking to see if anyone else has flown this long. And you know the rule, pics or it didn't happen :P

@TimberWolffe nice, not sure how many times I've gone all the way around but its at least one that I saw... Figured i could calculate it by flight time but then realized that the planet is also spinning so I'm not sure... I figure I'm on my 2nd or 3rd go around...

Well, first, I said longest, not furthest. Also, you didn't show the flight summary window to prove how far you went. You could just be SAYING that you did it 5 times, or 20 times, no proof...

Anyways... my latest

4 days, 5 hours, 22 minutes

7,561,074 meters, and all below 9000m altitude.

..... And still going! :)

I suppose i could have just sat on the run way for 3 hours burning fuel, ill have to see if the quicksave from my 4th lap around is still there lol.

anywho i just wanted to see how fast you could do it with a plane after seeing this and thinking "gee thats a long time to get some results" haha

if you want to have a go at the speed challenge i started a thread for it, can make your own plane or i gave a download link for the mongrel, i do have faster planes i could share but i want that record.

Hmm interesting, Never actually used the flight log because my f1-12 do not work, cant seem to assign it to one of the number pad keys either.

Going to have to crash the plane into the ground to get the flight log.

wth this is rigged it only gives the flight data from when i landed to when i crashed i took off and crashed again.. hate ksp sometimes.

If your F1-F12 don't work, then how are you quickloading and quicksaving?
