Unfortunately I'm unable to play KSP with that awsome mod. Installed Mechjeb, using KSP 1.2.1, put the "Eagle 1" subdirectory in my Gamedata, but not parts of 1999 appears. What am I doing wrong ? Following my KSP.log.

Launching as the Eagle would launch will make it lose the Cockpit - it just falls off.

Launching like a rocket is at least stable standing - until you start the engines and notice that the "up" and "forwad" ones are burning the same time :) Ok, disabled the engines by hand and only used the main back thrusters - but not enough power to lauch. :( And then the fuel was out and that's it then.

Guess I'll have to edit the savegame by hand to give the Eagle much more fuel so it can actually be used to fly around.
Or I made a mistake and missed a fuel tank somehow?

Can anyone please let me know how to get the Eagle One up and flying without additional launch rocket and such, as the real Eagle Spaceship used to be designed to take off from Earth (Kerbin) and fly to the Moon (Mun) nonstop without additional stages. How can it be lanuched standing on the ground without having the parts fall off again?

try kerbal joint reinforcement to keep it on, as for the power, i didnt think it came into the atmosphere, i was just going to use El to build it on the mun and maybe fly it from there....

I already have it installed - the joints on the Eagle are just too weak to start from kerbin, which is a shame as the Eagle is especially designed to do that in the show :( When I try to put the eagle on it's legs on kerbin the cockpit just falls to the ground :( Üsigh*

Does anyone know how to improve the joints strength of the parts beyond KJR?

Ok in relation to the fuel, the eagle one transporter fuselage and the Hawk Interceptor fuselage, have built in generators that generate almost infinite fuel, a lot of Mono Propellant and some Electricity.

I used the Throttle Controlled Avionics,

to get it to Orbit with out problems and I launched the Eagle as it should.

Greetings fellow eagle drivers.

We are conducting tests on the Gerry Anderson Space 1999 mod. This mod was originally designed by RedSpar, and worked real well. After a while it became abandoned. We took up the mod and greatly improved on the design. 

The Eagle Transporter model used in our mod is built from the ground up. This is a separate mod from RedSpars eagle. 

There seem to be a few issues arising concerning both flyability and EVA with the eagle..notably there is a ghost hatch on the pod. It is not in the physical model. Not sure why it shows up. 

Flying this 230 ton ship is relatively easy. Action group the vtol engines, then action group the mains. Onboard generators can be accessed by right clicking on the hull and turning them on. 

SAS,  (T) must be used for enhanced stability control during flight. Mechjeb should never be Used. 

Our ship was designed to replicate the Eagle Transporter as seen on the show, Space 1999. It does defy physics in some aspects,  but good sci do is good sci fi.

My memory is a bit hazy on this, but aren't there some circumstances where if there's a problem with the hatch transform it places EVA Kerbals somewhere else?
