I had to reload the page 3 times until speedtest could even connect to my server.

I\'ve been spending the last 20 minutes downloading a 500kb file that just failed.

Have you tried opera turbo on that connection?

It acts like a proxy and strips down the website to reduce files size of pics and everything.

got about 15-20m of cat5 between myself and the modem which seems to drop speed by 20mb/s or so, plus it being a peak time now seems to slow it down a little too. Have had downspeeds of 65mb/s before.

Nope, they\'re not rippin\' me off, my minimal download ir 4 mbit/s and max is 8 mbit/s
